Going back to January 2012 when they were proposing 12:1 mainsheet and longer daggerboards they also mentioned making the main fuller and still being in the class rules.
I have not seen anything since. Does anyone know what happened re this?
Did they allow it? Did it actually improve anything?

Current Wild Cat mainsails are slightly fuller and have been this way since about sail # 400

Hmm! Mine is 319. Does anyone know if it has any significant effect on performance?

The main difference is in that marginal trapping conditions where you're just about to get on the trap - it gets the hull up slightly easier - but in super light - or full trap conditions there's little to no benefit.
