Do the Hobie 20 tiller connector kit components (part #1953) fit a Tiger? I cracked an end cap on my Tiger (part #99220163) and am looking for a replacement.

Thanks,

Mark

Ok, an update for anyone that's watching.....The Hobie 20 connector kit provides a tiller end-cap that swivels, made up of 5 separate pieces. My Tiger has a single piece non-swiveling turned aluminum end cap that appears to no longer be available. I've ordered the Hobie 20 set and have been told that it will fit.

H20 kit is the same - the only difference is they swiveled - you can make them 'not' swivel to match the Tiger by removing the nylon washer inside and tightening it - BTW _ they rotate for H20 and I think it's better, the reason is that when they don't rotate - it causes the plastic cap to bend when lifting to lock one rudder - be careful not to break the plastic cap on the non adjustable end of the tiller crossbar - that is the most common issue with Tiger, because they don't rotate the tiller end caps - (Wild Cat they still can break, but you don't actually lift up the tillers - the system works in a different way, so having them fixed just makes more sense - but that cap still can break easily from use and time)

Thanks Jacques, the parts arrived and they fit the end of the Tiger tiller just fine but with a little slop before the rivets were installed.
