Yes I'm a newbie here that would like to introduce myself. I m a former CBS News reporter turned serial entrepreneur. My most recent venture will be related to my long time former high school classmate Jeff, who has been working on an airfoil system for sail boats for over 20 years. He knows I like new business challenges even at 70 years young. So we have joined forces to launch a company manufacturing his airfoil system in the Virgin Islands! We have been in touch with Hobie Cat HQ as we plan to beta test his system on a Wildcat. They are intrigued. Jeff showed his system to the Coast Guard Commandant in San Diego years ago and he was also intrigued with it. In fact he gave Jeff a letter on Coast Guard stationery! Now Jeff is trying to locate that letter at his storage facility in Los Angeles! I know this has to meet approval of the site chief so I will not share website at this time. Thanks! Hugh Simpson |
