Is a decksweeper main class legal in the Hobie Wildcat class races? |

They are class legal in F18. But for Hobie Wildcat "class" racing I would say no unless the decksweeper was supplied by the Hobie sail loft. To my knowledge, Hobie DOES NOT offer a decksweeper for either the Tiger or Wildcat. John Bauldry Hobie Wildcat #USA 413 Hobie 17 #6723 |

Ok thanks, but we are considering new sails and will opt for the decksweeper. But also want to do some class racing. What autority can inform me on this? |

Put a decksweeper on my wildcat last year. Great to sail with and much more manageable than standard sail, especially in the breeze. Not Hobie class legal but we'll worth the investment to sail F18. |
