Post subject: | Buying a boat and finding a place to sail |
Hi, I live in Spokane, WA and grew up racing Hobie Holder 12's and Geary 18's in southern, CA. I have sailed Hobie 16's a few times. I used to be a very avid sailor and would very much like to get back into it. We travel to Seattle frequently to visit family and could potentially make it to a few races over there but primarily, I will be sailing on Coeur d'Alene Lake. I am looking for a decent boat with trailer in the $1000-$2500 range and some people to sail with. Does anybody have any ideas? |

My name is Grant Silver, I also live in the Spokane area, there are very few of us that race competitively in the area. As you will see from the the division 4 website pretty much all of our races are on the westside. The only people from the Spokane area that constantly make the trips for Division 4 races are myself and Kipp. Let me know when you have a boat, I would love to get in some practice sailing before and during the racing season. my email is [email protected]. |
