Coming soon, April 4-6.
We will be gathering at the Potholes State Fark for a Fun Sail.

Here is a link to the Info and Directions.
http://www.div4.hobieclass.com/?Page=7603

This event is primarily for youth to get aquainted with catamaran sailing. We will be bringing several Waves for the kids to get out and have fun on.

Also in attendance will be some of the Tigers geting tuned up for the season. So if you think you would like a ride on one of the Tiger be sure to come out.

I will have my FX One there and if you are interested in a ride on it be sure to come for that.

And most inportantly, I will be needing several people to assist with beach captian and safety boat duties. If you would like to help out please contact me,
Mike Hensel....206 three nine one 3499 or sailingahobie at msn dot com

Please volunteer for at least half of a day helping out the kids. It will go a long way for the kids and the sport.

Thanks,
Mike Hensel

Is it a nice Fark? Potholes? Sounds like a nasty Fark. If there is one thing I can't stand is a dirty Fark- Is this a clean Fark? Are children allowed in the Fark? If I bring my car will there be plenty of farking in the Fark.

:D

He meant Park.

Fark is what happens when your knee goes through the inspection cover.

It's not news, it's Fark! www.fark.com

While it sounds like fun, I think the words "warm up" are not going to be true - April on the east side of the Cascades can still have snow and ice. Dress warm!

Yes I believe it may be a bit cold. But I suppose it is realative. :)

If it isn't rainy over there I hope the temps make it to the 60s. Which beats the 40s and low 50s in Seattle.
I am sure it will be cold at night, so come prepared.

I think "Warm Up" applied as much to getting the boats out of storage and back on the water as it did to the air temp.

Picking this week was primarilly based on reservations not being required at the state park and the fact that most of the kids that were interested are on Spring Break.

Next year may be a month later. Lets see how it goes this year.

:D Weather report is for 60's during the day. Should be a great event. It will be cold at night, so come prepared. Dan and I will be going over Friday morning with two SSP Waves. Hope to see you all over there.
