I’m buying a Hobie and debating between a Wave and a Hobie 16. I have three questions:

1) Does the Wave need to be beach docked? Can it be moored? If beach docked, does anyone know a place in the general East Hampton area to dock during the season.

2) I don’t have room to store it at my house. Can anyone suggest a place to store it off season.

3) are there Hobie clubs or races in the Hamptons area?

Appreciate any insights.

Joe

We do not recommend mooring catamarans of any kind. Up on a dock, float or beach is the go.

Try Sail Action (Local Hobie dealer) for any local info.
