Rich,
We have done this one and have it on the Div 4 schedule as a points regatta.

Well worth the drive! This has got to be the best bang for the buck. Two Dinners, Two Breakfasts, Huge Raffle.
Boat set up on the grass, next to the shade trees.
Roll your boat about 20 feet to the sandy beach.
Launch into the warm water, and sail out on the afternoon breeze in shorts (no drysuits)

Did I mention the bar and AWESOME hosts?

Oh, yea. Free camping on the grass, next to the showers and ice machine. Full hook-ups available too.

We made the paper last year.

I also have gone to this regatta several times. Driving from Seattle to Eugene Oregon. As Don has said it is well worth it. For us up north it is a warm weather/water event that I wouldn't miss for anything.

I travel down a couple of days early and take advantage of thier gracious offer to arive early and sail. Four days fun in the sun for me. Nice vacation, and I can't wait to do it again.

See you all there.
