Charter boats will be tough. I know Rob will have some and we are working with the locals to find more. There will probably be some older boats available. The Madcatter is more about the event than the sailing anyway. Don't let a little thing like a boat stop you. Someone real good is going to win anyway. I would guess that there will be more than 30 16A's(already 13 registered) with a bunch of past National champs in the field. I'm there to mostly cook hotdogs and help get rid of rum. It would be real tough to break into the top 5 with the guys that are already registered.

I am sure it will be a great event, but going without the option of sailing is not likley. If I do go, I will definitly be trying to win,but winning has never been my main goal for going to a regatta. If it was I would have gone home from a whole lot of regattas disappointed.
Chris you might just see me at Clear Lake yet.Had a great time the last time

Meet the MADCATTER XXX
GUEST EXPERT PANEL

Fleet 204 is very proud to bring the sailors a different format in the approach to the Guest Expert Program. Typically the GEP program is led by one person focusing on one type of cat. This year at Madcatter XXX we have put together a panel of Experts to bring a very diversified and interesting perspective of learning through a panel discussion. Our five Experts will be conducting an OPEN discussion seminar and will be available throughout the weekend for tips. Please give a warm welcome to our experts:

MATT BOUNDS originally from Richmond. VA currently living in Detroit says “he has been sailing way too long.â€

Yes we had some weather. The good news is - the weather range for our regatta is 50 to 90, so come prepared, we'll bring the rum.

Everyone had fun - no one got hurt.
