Mike Great video. I was there. We were lite. I usually flipped right after each start. Gavin won it. Look at the soft rigs and traveler settings. The most impressive sailors were the women.

Pat you are a monster in those big waves now.I saw you sail thru my lee in the big waves.I didn't feel so bad when Modderman told me you did the same thing to him.

check out this video at the 1:30 point.Is Colby tightening the clew of the main like you would on a Laser to tighten the leech,or is he just using up out haul line?

Might be a good idea to tighten that clew down tight to the boom (like you would on a Laser ) might just tighten up the leech a little and let you point 0.001 degree higher.Maybe one of his little secrets to going so fast ,I mean it can't just be all skill ,experience and natural ability that makes him so fast :wink:
