Where can I get a race legal custom sail for a sponsor?

You start with your Hobie dealer. They can order a custom color, class legal sail for you.

Of course, the colors are limited to the individual panels. Any further detail will need to be done with vinyl appliques.

Any history of screen-printing on a white sail? Do the dyes/binders hold up well? My understanding is the vinyl appliqués work best on the mylar sails.

I have put logos on using insignia cloth. The stuff the numbers and class logo are made of.

Check out

We are the Borio's Boat in the middle.

I changed the numbers font and put red on one side and green on the other.

PM me for contact info and I'll hook you up

Tom

Yes, you can choose your numbers (at additional cost).

I have had a few customs done too, send me your email address and I'll forward pics to you. The Hobie Factory did a really nice Wave sail for us for the Mini Mega, and also I have commissioned Whirlwind sails for a custom Wave sail as well with the local girl scout logos on it. For racing HCA stuff, you'll need to order from the factory but it wasn't very expensive to add the graphics.

They have someone that does them for them, but you better talk straight to the horse on that one. They did a great job for me is all I can tell you.

I am wondering how receptive would a Company like Volvo be for making up a Sail graphic. It would be pretty cheap advertising for them
I know Zhik has been good to me (Mike Krantz) sending me Zhik decals and some of there caps.
