Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for an instructional video that would show "best practice" methods for tacking, gybing, spinnaker raising and lowering, and trimming on F18 boats like our 2007 Tiger. Has anyone created one?

Thanks,

Mark

(I also posted this request in the Tiger/Wildcat/F18 Forum)

I think the simple answer is no - nothing exists that is well produced. There is a set of videos linked through the USF18 website which are quite informative, but not of in-the-water action. There area also many many videos out there on YouTube of high level teams going through the paces, but you have to search for them. (search "F18 Catamaran")

This is a real opportunity to help people quickly learn. F18 class leadership has identified this as something to work on, but I'm not sure if anyone has actually stepped up and taken responsibility.

Please tell me more about the F18 DVD....topics covered, length, etc. I may be interested in buying.

Thanks,

Mark
