I would like to promote an open regatta on Lake Pleasant, Arizona. The Arizona Yacht Club Birthday Regatta. I raced last year and was the only Hobie 16. There where 2 Tigers, and an Inter 20. I would like to get more participation this year.
When: January 13 - 13
Where: Lake Pleasant, Arizona (about 35 minutes outside of Phoenix)

There is camping available at Desert Tortoise Campground about 10 minutes away from the regatta site, or you can camp at the regatta site. If there is a campfire ban in effect again this year, I will camp at the regatta site, if not I will camp at . If anyone wants to share the site let me know. This was a fun event, and they use triangle courses, so if you miss the reaching leg. This regatta is for you. Sunday is an early 9am start. So plan on getting allot of racing in.
This is also a Leukemia regatta.
I hope we can get some more boats up there this year (Especially 16s!)
