D'Oh! My bad. I did mean 20999000. We did a 20999020 on to James' old Getaway.

I've been working on the website so long, part numbers all look the same any more.

all these part number start to look alike! Matt told me an easy way to keep them straight and it worked like a charm, for the rest of that day then I forgot!

Good to know the spin kit is still available, thanks Matt

The easy way...

8 digits is a long string. Break it into two sets of 4.

2099 9020

2099 9000

Easier in my head.

They used to have a dash.

2099-9020 That made it easier.

---------------

2099 1081

2 = H16

99 = Sail

1 = Main (2 would be jib)

81 is the color

--------------

2097 0055

2 = H16

97 = Trampolines

55 = Color (Black)

Wish they kept that system going, but during the 17 era they changed the sequence for some (stupid engineer) reason.

Of the 8 digit numbers, the starting number is model. That means the part was originally from that boat model. Many parts are interchanged, but they carry the number they were created for.

From the current catalog:

1 = H14
2 = H16
3 = H21
36 = H21 Sport Cruiser
37 = Getaway
38 = Wave
39 = Club Wave
4 = H20
5 = H17
52 = Sport 17
6 = H18
68 = H18 SX
9 = Bravo

Yeah... The number tricks work good when you're trying to drill down quickly to find a part.

Tangent - I forgot to ask if the 20999020 is US made or Europe Made?

The snuffer spinnaker systems come from France.
