Hi Don, How many times did you sail your TF? I have always wanted some feedback on how well those trolling motors worked. I thought that was a very slick idea. Please let me know who buys the boat. His contact info would be very helpful to keep the registry up to date. |

The two trolling motors were mounted to over come launching at our De Tour Mi. ramp. They allowed me to navigate and turn in the Trifoiler's own footprint out of a shallow rocky channel only about 25 ft wide without foil or sail. The single battery allow about 30-40 min. of power to get me up the cost through the North Channel to Saint Vital Bay then the fun began. The motors were not for speed but would allow you to get out of the way of the freighters in the channel if needed. When on foil in a high speed run they need to be totally retracted to avoid getting blasted by the power washer effect. Good Memory's Jim Drury |
