Just in case you cats missed it, this came up on my ebay alerts. Seems like a decent asking price too?

I tried to ask the seller some questions a few months back when it first listed. There are some oddities that I wanted more info on but could not get a reply from the seller.

Tom there might be a good reason for that...

Just to alert the group on inconsistencies ---

We own hull 188. Which was purchased in the 2001-ish timeframe...(currently in Belize)

Smells funny ---
a) I don't think 700+ hulls were ever built/sold (Matt could confirm)
b) If we have 188 in 2001, then hull 745 hull in 2000 isn't likely...

Do your homework if this one pops back up...

Happy Holidays

I have #170. As I understand it, the Kettermans built about 30 or 40 before Hobie picked up production. There could have been as many as 200 TriFoilers built but certainly not 700+. The numbers don't make sense and my queries to him have continued to either go unanswered or I receive a response about him being out of the country.

If you look at his ebay seller history it is suspect...

"random" product offerings and virtually no sales history...

Could it be #70 => and the 0 belongs to the following number with the production year?

Both the sail number and hull number are wrong. It's one thing for them not to match, another for both to be beyond the actual range of boats built. Not sure what's going on. Wish I was close enough to just go see it.
