New to the area. If anyone knows of any good TF launching/ sailing spots do tell. I just found an amazing spot: Floyd Bennet Field/ Gateway Rec Area, Brooklyn, Ny https://goo.gl/maps/Fo6HzjMxTT82 The launch is 100ft wide because its the old flying boat ramp. No motorboats allowed. The bay is huge and sand bottomed. Flat water protected by the barrier island - with access to the sea - if inclined. And if you camp, the boat can be left rigged on the trailer! Oh and its FREE! G |
