Hello Fellow Foilers,

I am the recent new owner of TF #186. She is in pretty good condition but missing a few parts. Does anybody have a boat they are using for parts? I've spoken with Dan Ketterman about buying them from Hobie directly but figured it might be worth asking on here as well. The most important thing I am missing is the shocks that connect the masts to the amas. I need both of them... Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

The shocks are a very, very important part of the system. When I bought #170, I went ahead and spent the money on a new pair and kept the older ones for spares. They are not very hard to rebuild if you still have your originals. Some O-rings and Auto Trans fluid, filled to the proper level, and they should be fine.

Tom, unfortunately I don't even have an old set to work with. The previous owner lost them at some point.

Unfortunately unobtainium.

Really add insult to injury...there was an add in Sarasota last year (2018) of a guy who tossed ALL his old trifoiler stuff in the trash. SOOooooo sad.

He said he had almost a complete boat. He did not know the hull number.
