Does anyone have a DIY hack for mounting a wind vane on the Bravo’s mast float? Thanks.

Neither the mast nor the mast float is practical for mounting a wind vane, since both rotate about the vertical axis of the mast during reefing and unfurling. However, a wind vane (such as the C-Vane wind vane) can be attached to the forward mast brace. Because the forward mast brace is only 0.88" in diameter a 1/2" thick sleeve needs to be placed inside the attachment bracket on the C-Vane wind vane. This sleeve can be held in place inside the attachment bracket by double-sided tape.
