I live on a creek that leads to a larger river, separated by a low bridge (15' clearance). If I launched a Bravo from my house and sailed the creek and wanted to sail in the river, I need to go under the bridge. Is it possible to manually lower the mast while on the water, lay it across the hull, paddle the Bravo about 50 feet and then re-raise the mast?
In other words, is it possible to take off and reattach the mast while the boat is in the water and floating while staying on the boat, or is it too unstable to do this?
Thanks for your help.
