1st time posting. I just bought a Bravo last week so thought I'd be cautious and use the mast float while I get the hang of it. On the second outing, I capsized it. When I was derigging, I found out that the 'float' was half full of water! It looks like it's very thin plastic where the mast fits inside the float and if the float gets knocked hard (the mast gets dropped or the end bounced on the ground due to the extra weight?), it cracks easily. Seems like a design flaw. Has anyone seen this before?

Being a cheapo, I drilled 2 more holes in it and dumper a whole can of expanding foam in there. Job done!

Those are super durable. Never seen one fail before. Great solution though.

Don't have one but I am going to use a cheap kid's football and fill it with spray foam. Not sure of the buoyancy, but may give me enough time to right the Bravo before turtling.
