Concerning the front spinnaker bow tangs. On the Stillito 27 we move the forestay bridle further toward the bow instead of the factory installed location. This moves the sail forward and out of the way of the cockpit and makes it a bit easier the tack. Regardless if this makes any sense do the front spinnaker bow tangs have the strength as the bridle forestay tangs. Most likely someone who is familiar with how this area was constructed would know if the front tangs have the huevos to do it all or someone that goes around crashing the front of the hulls to see how strong they are. Everyone says the Hobie 21 is built like a tank.
