Dave Gauci -

I was at the cabin over Christmas and caught up on some reading....I found this great article in Sail Magazine September, 2007 about the Cadillac Van Isle 360 race. You most likely have read or raced in this event, but if not thought it would be a good read for all.

Yep..I've done that one. I was on a 45' Benteau with a 50" big screen down below...a much different experience that hanging out on the wire. It proved to be excellent for reconnissance for the race. I'm diving back into the organizing now that Christmas has passed. Anyone wanna help me to pull this off? heh heh heh

I don't have time to help Dave, but I would love to sail with you next summer. I am starting to really get the feel of the 21. Today I was out in 14-26 mph winds and I don't think I would want to take more wind. The higher gusts were scary. Sounds like the island would be challenging.......but very fun!
