I am going to make a gin pole to help solo step my mast on 21SC. Does anyone know the length? I took a rough measurement and get 80 inches. If mast was already up, I could take measurement to base of furler, but hard to eyeball angle with mast down. Any other thoughts/suggestions? Thanks! |

Minimum mast to past the furler drum. Longer is better. Short and it will pull out of the mast under load. Drawing says 80" |

Confirmed, I measured mine at 80 inches long with a outer diameter of 1 7/8". |
