I'm upgrading my 6:1 mainsheet to a 8:1 for my H21sc. I'm going to need a little over 80' to accommodate the 8:1 if I still want to use the gin pole for raising the mast. So there's a lot of line to manage on deck. I've been very pleased with the 9mm Rooster Polilite but its fairly pricey. The Polilite is light, resists tangles and doesn't hold much water which I've come to appreciate.

Any recommendations/ alternatives for a 9-10mm line that will out preform a typical double braid but won't break the bank?

I raise the mast on the trailer and use the trailer winch to haul on the gin pole. Adding a winch to your trailer could be cheaper than all that rope.

now I use a modified H18 mast on my 21SC and no longer need a gin pole to step the mast

I ran 9 mm Robbline on my old H18SX, loved it....pricey, but worth every penny.
Light, easy on the hands, floats well, does not tangle....
