As soon as I get 2-3 days of 75+ degrees, I'm going to cut holes in my 21SE to fix wing sockets. I'm going to do the repairs ala Jack-o-lantern lid method so I can glue the pieces cut out back in. Going in through the sides, inside.

Anyone (Mr. Miller?) know what weight cloth Hobie originally used? I want to match, make internal lip and overlap accordingly. Will be using Proset epoxy, etc. WIll document process for others.

Kind of narcissistic replying to my own post, but big thanks to Mr. Miller. Very awesome of he and Hobie to still support however they can, long discontinued products. Most manufacturers go to the "I don't know" mode in order to cut their time on something they have no reasonable obligation to support. Again, much appreciation here.

3/4 Oz. mat to hide weave with 10oz cloth main layer. Inside hull appears to be straight 10 Oz. Will post pics of my repair. I'm by passing the deck plate method, while much easier seems to add a location to leak, potentially.
