The iTrek 11 seems to be trickling out to some customers now, and there is a growing number of youtube videos of it. Anybody want to list some favorite videos or one of their own here? The ones I have seen so far were not too informative in my interest area.

P.S. Here is an idea for the next design cycle of these "board" type kayaks. To reduce the bow spearing into waves which then slam into your cargo, why not make the bow thicker and more buoyant? The first couple feet could be 50% thicker, which might make the ride dryer as well. In ships a similar idea is called Xbow.

Apparently my video embeds are not viewable to many due to not using the youtube2 syntax, so I patched up my above post. Note the first "quick start" video there only indirectly addresses the iTrek 11, so I will do the same below. The i11s was improvised into a sailboat just as I hope to do with an iTrek 11:

yaw_string,
Very cool, looks like fun.
Question, what keeps the kayak from slipping while tacking or on a beam reach? Is there a type of skeg or daggerboard device?
Would love to see how the mast is mounted.
Thanks.

He and I discussed that in kayak sailing topic https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=69372

He uses leeboard(s) but I hope to use centered mirage fins like my old inflatable did, similar to:
