I bought the accessory kit with black hard plastic items, and it came with glue in a very pretty purplish tube. However, the repair kit for my i12 came with glue in a plain vanilla white tube. The labeling on both tubes is identical. Thinking that the shelf life for an open tube is not very long and not wanting to open both unless necessary, I'm wondering whether the glue is interchangeable. Any answer from those with more knowledge and experience than me?

By the way, the purple tube glue does seem to work well with hard plastic parts. It "melts" the plastic which then bonds to the kayak PVC as it hardens. It melts the kayak PVC as well, but I think to a lesser extent.

Regards, Mike Z.

Mike,

Hope you get an answer. I dont mean to hijack your post, but...where did you find the kit? I've been able to find is the holder kit, but not the pad eye and ring kits.
