| Post subject: | first time flying with Hobie 9s |
Next month I will be traveling to Bonaire and want to take my new Hobie 9s. I was wondering if anyone else has traveled via airline and if they have any tips on traveling/packing or if this is even feasible. Thanks. hiltonheadkayaker |

I have not traveled with my i9, but I have read other posts that recommend not using just the canvas bag alone. Eight build a cardboard box to fit round the canvas bag or place more rugged canvas around the stocked bag. Due to the way the bag might get stuck inside the conveyer belt and then the belt keep moving past the bag and rubbs a hole into the hobie canvas bag. Good luck and plan ahead. |
