After over tightening the strays, I've ended up with a bowed mast. I've tried straightening each section in a vice but it remains bowed.

Any tips on straightening the mast? And or advice on how to strengthen it to prevent damage in the future.

Cheers

Mick

Each connection point will bow a bit adding up to what would appear a bent mast I suppose. When you sail, the mast section bends anyway... not critical to performance.
