Looking at purchasing 2 of these for our family. Can the front seat be put in reversed/backwards so that my 4 year old would face me while we fish?

I don't think so, but you could leave it out and let him/her sit in the hole or indention area and face you. Just a thought. Good Luck

Wait a minute. With the t14 it might be possible to change the straps adjustment and maybe it would work... Let us know if you did it or not. sorry with the quick first post.

We'll test it out when we get them. I'll upload a picture if it works

The front seat on the i14 can be reversed. The Mirage Drive can still be used with the seat reversed.

One of the Hobiecat Engineers used the i14 with the front seat reversed and the seat reversal was comfortable enough to catch some fish. Enjoy the new i14s and catch a bunch of fish!
