I've got 5 or 6 unopened tubes of glue from various accessory kits & the patch kit that came with the boat. All are over a year old, some are going on 3 years old. No dates I can see on the tubes.

Some tubes just say "organic solvents", some say MEK + polyurethane. It's my understanding that unopened polyurethane has a shelf life of about a year & not easy to tell when it goes bad.

I try to avoid gluing things to my boat, hence the collection of tubes. But, I'm about to do some gluing & want to make sure if the glue is good or not.

Guessing I should get fresh glue? Is it safe to assume I can use products like Vynabond, Stabond, Polymarine PVC etc. in lieu of the Hobie mystery glue:)?

Thanks!
