I have a broken out padeye on rudder drum for the up and down haul on twist and stow rudder. It is a mystery on how it broke off. I may have dropped it on a hard surface when folding it up or unfolding. It may have been this way for a while. There does not seem to be any problem with its operation this way. The fix is I have to get a whole new rudder assembly. Could I just leave it this way? It seems to be working just fine.
