Has anyone done it yet? Or have the i11s in big water? Curious as to how it went. No internal storage, do you bungee the rods flush to the deck?

I've been looking into getting one of these also, and from the photos I've seen, guys are mounting crates with rod holders behind the seat. I plan to take a "less is more" approach with mine and just go out with 1 rod, and a net, and a floating fish basket for bluegills. Maybe attach a rod holder to the seat back somehow.

I'm taking my i11s into the ocean tomorrow out of Sunset Bay Oregon, not a surf launch but big water for sure (3' primary swell plus a 1.5' secondary)...going on a bottom fishing outing. you can see my thread under 'Hobie Kayak Fishing' as to how my boat is rigged, my approach is to have my rigging modular so I can use some or all of it, or just take the i11s out plain and simple...I'll post how things go in the ocean...cheers, roger
