old guy at the launch "what the heck kind of toy boat is that? you ever catch any fish or just float around looking goofy?"

I smiled. I get lots of thumbs up from other boats; lots of people around here know me now. I was hoping to see the old guy when I got back to the launch but alas, he was probably still out looking for a fish... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Good stuff! Enjoyed the 1000 word essay that is in your picture.

There is a lot of boat size-ism out there. But, as you well know, the great thing about small fishing/sailing kayaks is you can get them off the top of your car (or out of your boot/trunk) and into the water fully rigged and as-near-as-damn-it fully capable in ten minutes, without herniation. And no need to queue at a launching ramp.
