We use spectra for the steering line, Installation can be tricky though. There's no kit offered for this.

We also have a stainless line retro kit.

Please start by contacting your dealer, and they should be able to steer you in the right direction. If the dealer has any questions, they can contact our Warranty department.

Is the stainless line retro kit only for newer i9 models, or older i9 models as well?

It is only for boats with a serial number that ends in 516 (anything with a 616 has already been changed)

And not for "older" models without a CT seat. The framed seats required a steering system with umbilical cord steering. The older boats with soft seats and steering mounted to the hull would not use the stainless either way. Simply the spectra cord.
