has anyone tried using the i11s as SUP? how does it compare to other inflatable SUPs? Don't want to pull the trigger on getting a paddle if it is not really that well, seems a bit wide also where does one stand?

The i11 works great as a sup conversion...and standing on the factory EVA standing pads is a good place to stand for a balanced ride...with the seat removed you can theoretically move up and down the board depending on your comfort level and maneuverability you want to achieve.

Thanks for the answer.
Tried it on Sunday, does seem pretty good except when it hits waves, somewhat not as rigid as I hope. Also slight pool of water where the side hulls hit the main deck, near the center. I have tried the old Sportsman SUP before, which seems similar to the i11s in SUP form, very similar based on the stats and picture below. That one the PSI is a lot higher, almost 3 times. Would it be possible to pump the i11s higher than the recommended PSI or is that not recommended considering the construction is different?

One last question, do Hobie sell extra pads I could glue on? What is the part number for that? Thanks!

not recommended to go over the psi rating on the i11s...and we don't have a specific pad kit for the i11, but a SUP kit might work for you (if you're okay with doing some trimming). Maybe somebody else in the forums has given this a shot?
