Howdy. I bought the i12s last summer and love it but suddenly the little hand knob for controlling the rutter has become very stiff and difficult to move. Suggestions?

Before you start squirting silicon everywhere, try simple grit and salt removal with water. Squirt into the ends of cable tubes and the rudder pivots and handle. Turn the rudder and flush more. Best done after each outing. I have never had to resort to lubes which may attract dirt. Beware many silicon sprays use a petroleum solvent.
