I inflated my i11s and left it for few hours and when I came home I found out the middle floor is soft. I left the all three valve covers open when I left home. My question is when I left the valve cover open, will the air will go out from the valve?but the left and right side is still fully inflated even both valves covers were open. Then I fully Inflated the middle floor again and left it for another one and half hour with the valve cover closed and seems ok then I deflated and put it back to the bag. Any inputs and thanks |

I've had both side chambers leak while keeping my i11s lightly inflated, stored flat on a table. This only occured when the valve caps are unscrewed. I too wonder if the valve cap keeps air in? No issues on the water for 9+ hours, but obviously my caps are closed on the water. |

crappie wrote: That's means close the valve caps should prevent air leak? So far that's been the case; if it's leaking with the caps closed I cannot detect it with standard soap test... What I want to know is if the silicon/rubber seal on the valve caps is actually holding air pressure in, or if the caps in the closed position keeps the spring pin in a certain position so as to not leak air. I hope that makes sense. |

The valve cap is not provided to keep air in... it is there to keep debris out so the valve seal is not compromised. If you have a chamber that is not holding pressure - cap or no cap - over a short time frame, a repair of some sort will be necessary. |
