Here is one way you can share your kayak trip info - use EveryTrail (http://www.everytrail.com). This free service utilizes GPS tracks, photos and descriptions with an interactive Google map. The nice thing about EveryTrail is if you see someone's kayak trip and you want to follow their path, you can download the GPX file of their trip so you can transfer the data to your own GPS device. With their track in your GPS, you can follow their trip without worry about getting lost.

EveryTrail is searchable, including using maps and advanced searches. Some of the Hobie community is already using EveryTrail. Try search words like Hobie or Hobie Adventure. When you create your own trails, include keywords like Hobie Revolution, Hobie Adventure, Hobie Outback, etc... Have fun and share often and watch out for big ships.

Here is one of my favorite kayaking loops: http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=452592
