Nice camping in a paved lot. Launch at the boat ramp docks. Look straight across the channel from the ramp and you'll see this small cave (nice shade break on a hot day). Above the cave, on the sloped rock surface, are good dinosaur tracks. Kayaks and canoes are allowed to land and walk up to the tracks, all other boats are prohibited due to an incident involving a local Boy Scout group some years ago.

Red Fleet has very soft, muddy shores, but the channel leading upstream (turn left from the boat ramp, away from the main lake) opens up into tall cliffs and great views. We were able to go all the way to the inlet, grounding on the gravel in very shallow rippling water. Red Fleet was a "last launch before the long run home" and turned out to be a wonderful surprise!

The canyon upstream from the boat ramp is "NO WAKE" and little used....and spectacular.
