My experience was the other Colorado river from Willow Beach, Arizona up to Hoover dam then float back down in the dark. Spooky fun.
No rapids.

I took a couple days and kayaked from Glen Canyon Dam to Lee's Ferry. Wondering if anyone else has done this area. I tried going up a couple swift water areas and wasn't successful. Had to cross the swift channel to stay out of the shallows with rocks. Wonder if a tandem would be easier? Some of the river is easy, some is moving close to 6 mph. I guess I need to look at my GPS data. 11' Revolution |
