Looks like a lot of fun! Looks like a flashlight would have been a nice addition. Great towing job! Thanks for sharing. 8)

Interesting, but isn't the cadence kind of high and an indication that turbo fins could more effectively and comfortably use the natural torque that may be going to waste? Or the fin pitch could be tightened if the 180 still allows that (possibly not on the v2?).

Sorry you lost me.....

Sorry, I was trying to bait some more knowledgeable person into commenting. But to me it looks like you are on a bicycle or car that is stuck in a too low gear, spinning fast. Hobie sells longer "turbo" fins that grips more water and you go faster at the same cadence. Or you can slow down the pedals and go just as fast as regular fins. There is more resistance on the pedals but you seem to have torque to spare. Most folks seem to find turbo fins more comfortable and speedy unless the worse bottom clearance bugs you.

Actually the cadence wasn't bad at all..... My Outback is about 190 lbs fully loaded, plus my 200 lbs rearend and my wife's wt and her I-SUP... Hitting 4.2 MPH was not that hard, I was not pushing it.
My Outback has the Turbo mirage drive 180 in it.....
