I purchased the x-treme angle fairlead (Harken part H476) a while back to allow for better main sheet release from the tramps but never got around to installing it. Finally got to it this past week and it seems like a worthwhile upgrade (dare I say should be included from the factory....). The hardest part is finding the right length of screw. You need a #8-32 screw that is just over 1-3/4" long. 1-7/8" screws can be found but they don't seem to be stocked places, even 1-3/4" can be hard to find. I ended up buying 2" long screws and using a hack saw to take the end off. Super easy to do and I am not the most handy person around.

I haven't had it on the water yet, but testing around on land it is super easy to get the main sheet cleated in from a position on the tramp area.
