If you're concerned about potential damage, you could always reinforce the peg recesses prior to the mod - a suitably-sized plastic cap (20 or 25mm PVC end-cap?) and a massive wadge of epoxy bunged over them should give you peace of mind... From what I can gather the kit includes the pvc caps to reinforce the seat holes. I have had some pvc electrical caps stored away for years - just in case I ever needed them so I will proceed with this regardless. Thanks guys for the info and advice |
