Apologies if this is an easy one to answer and to be honest if the boat wasn't covered in a foot of snow i would be out there taking it apart.

Time has come to address the hiking stick tiller extension jobbie. I have sourced a great extension and was going with the ram ball solution however does anyone know if the actual tiller handles are easy to remove. If they are another plan may be hatching.

When I removed my AI tiller Handle I didn't know there was a spring underneath. The handle came off easily but everything underneath went flying.

there is a Allen screw under the Hobie sticker. Remove that and the handle lifts straight up. You might need to wiggle it. When you put it back, use lock tight.

There should be a pin holding the tiller shaft in place so that what happened to dpstivers won't happen to you.
