Hey All,

Installed a Starport which is very stable. The problem I'm having is that the inserted accessories don't fit snugly in the Starport. I've tried a 5" adjustable extension arm and two 6" extension arms. Seeing a lot of play. When I connect the extensions to each other, the fit is rock sold - no play at all. I had a Starport HD not yet installed which I tested - same findings. Not clear why the Starports would be less snug than the fittings between arms. I know the sliding locking mechanisms on the extensions vs. the Starports look different but appear to work in the same way. Appreciate any help.

All my starports are snug as can be. In fact, after use and on the water they can get a bit too snug.

Mine are all rock solid...as mentioned, maybe a bit too tight.

I'd contact Railblaza and see about getting a replacement. Hopefully they'll do the right thing. If not be sure to let us know...customer service is a priority in the Hobie community.

I have the earlier version Starport, not the HD, and things are very tight. I wonder if the lower profile & design of the HD version is to blame. You might want to contact Railblaza for their input. Bummer....

I'm seeing the same issue with the regular Starport and the Starport HD.

All my Railblaza connectors are TOO tight. IF I can get them together, I can't get them apart most of the time. Stupid.

I ordered 4 Starports. Three of four look like the one on the left. These three fit loosely and have different markings ("R" logo on front, number "RB1030" on back. There is also a cutout on the backside behind the slide lock.

I measured the star width. The loose version is 26 mm while the snug version is 25 mm. Not sure what is happening here - maybe old stock. Will contact the retailer to return the three loose ones.
