Honestly this is mostly for @mmiller, but someone else may know.

What are the thread dimensions for the padeye and their sockets? I've got a 3d printer and I'd like to try some different stuff to thread into those little sockets.

Not sure. I don't have access to any drawings for them. Looks 3/4. Note the threads pitch is not symmetrical. There is a right angle to them on the outer side to better dig in and hold.

Yeah, its a "buttress" thread of some kind. There's a standard for it. I can measure and find out the size, I was just hoping Hobie would share the specs! Save me some time, but I understand not wanting to give out the drawings.

You might try searching for it on thingiverse.com if you haven't already. I would think someone has already done this. Whether they've shared the design is the question.

What software are you going to use to model?

You can create a thread in Blender based on measuring up one of them pretty easily....: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6oNjV9a2KU

Solidworks. The issue is the buttress thread, I'm not sure solidworks has it in their thread repository. But I can manually create the profile.
