I know this is a weird question, but has anyone attempted to rig a sliding seat to a Tandem Island to row it? It would be something like the unit at this link: https://www.rowingrigs.com/product-page/row-wing

I have gotten into rowing as a form of exercise, and I was thinking that if mounting bases for the rowing unit could be built to fit where the seats normally go, the Tandem could be a relatively efficient rowing shell (with the amas removed for this purpose, of course).

Then I could revert to sailing pretty easily when it's time to have fun. :D
