Nice report Honusail. Where did you land/camp on ECS? Near the pilings? How did you navigate that 28 mile or so open water crossing? Did you set up a route or just use a GOTO on your gps?
I know the crocs are very active in the area in late March. I wonder how long that lasts. We were there about March 20 a few years ago and there was lots of signs of croc, and we got some great pictures. People can read about that trip at

A Fishing Trip to East Cape Sable, Mar 20-23, 2008Tarpon? Were there lots of tarpon around? I'm becoming obsessed with getting a video of myself or someone fighting a tarpon from an AI/TI. Do you have any suggestions for a lure to troll for tarpon? I'm thinking of going out on Tues this week--3 day trip.
